What is Kratom?

Kratom is an evergreen tropical tree from the coffee family known scientifically as Mitragyna speciosa. Its habitat is Southeast Asia. Namely Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, the very name “kratom” comes from Thailand. The Mitragyna speciosa plant grows to a height of about 82 feet and grows up to 3 feet in diameter. The tree has a smooth gray bark. The leaves of kratom are oval, dark green with a lustrous shade, 5.5 to 8 inches long and 3 to 5 inches wide. They are used to make a variety of stimulant supplements from them. It is worth noting that the leaves of kratom were widely used by people of Southeast Asia, who for centuries have known and used the benefits of this wonderful plant to increase energy, relieve fatigue and much more that contributes to the normal existence of a person in a variety of life situations.
